What is Vela Microboards Association BC?

This organization has been established since 1989 and is dedicated to developing the network of Microboards in British Columbia. There are now over 450 microboards in BC.

The organisation's website contains a massive amount of information and stories about how Vela Microboards Association and individual microboards work:

David and Faye Wetherow created the microboard model and the very first microboards in the Canadian province of Manitoba in 1984.

Linda Perry, Executive Director of Vela Microboards Association, visited Western Australia in 2007. 

Vela Microboards Australia was formed in late 2007 when inspired, local people set out to establish the microboard model in WA.
